Introducing Your Dashboard — Everything for You, Your Team All In One Place

Your Dashboard is the part of the site built for families rather than for the public. It is where this week's training, your fixtures, your coach's drills, your team's photos and the club's paperwork all sit together — so you don't have to scroll back through a group chat to find out whether training is on.

This guide walks through it, section by section. It takes about two minutes to set up, once.

Your Dashboard sits behind a single password, so that team photos and team information aren't visible to the whole internet.

Your coach or team manager will give you your team's password. You only ever need to enter it once — your device stays unlocked afterwards, so you won't be asked again.

Go to gwnetball.co.uk and choose Your Dashboard from the menu, or tap the dashboard icon at the top of any page. Enter the password your team has given you and you're in.

If it doesn't work, or nobody has given you the password yet, just ask your coach or team manager.

The first thing the dashboard asks is which teams you're following. Choose one for each child — or every team, if you'd rather see the lot.

Your choice is saved on your own device, so the dashboard opens straight onto your teams every time. Nothing is sent to the club, and nothing is shared with anyone else.

Changed your mind, or gained another netballer in the family? Edit my teams at the top of the page changes the selection whenever you like.

If this is your first season, there's a prompt near the top of the dashboard linking to our New to Netball guide — the positions, the rules behind every whistle, what happens on a matchday and the words you'll hear shouted from the sideline.

It's written for players and parents starting from scratch, and it's worth ten minutes before your first match.

The first thing you'll see is every one of your teams' training sessions for the week ahead — the night, the time, the venue, and a link that opens directions in your maps app.

The important part is what happens when something changes. Coaches update training from their own portal, and it appears here straight away:

• Training cancelled — shown in pink, so it's the first thing you notice.
• Time or venue changed — shown with the new details, and the usual ones underneath so you can see what's different.
• Tonight — highlighted in gold on the day itself.

This is worth checking before you set off on a wet Tuesday.

Underneath training you'll find your teams' upcoming fixtures — who they're playing, where, and when — along with recent results.

Each team's card also shows the Player of the Match where the coach has picked one — both the coach's pick and the one the players vote for.

The league table

If your team plays in a league that publishes its standings, the current table appears on the dashboard too.

Nobody at the club types it in. It's read straight from the league's own published table, so it's as up to date as the league is — and it shows the full picture rather than just position: games played, won, drawn and lost, goals for and against, goal difference and league points, with your team highlighted in the list.

If you follow more than one team, there's a pill for each — tap a team name to switch between their tables.

Not every team has one. Where a league doesn't publish a table, or hasn't started its season, the dashboard says so rather than showing you an empty box.

Coaches can share the drills they've worked on in training, plus ideas to try at home. They appear on your team's card, split into two:

• From training — what they've been working on this week, so you know what your player is learning.
• Try at home — things that need nothing more than a ball, a wall and ten minutes.

Each drill comes with the coaching points the coach would say themselves, and sometimes a video.

Photos from matches, tournaments and club events appear in your team's gallery.

Photos are only ever published by a coach or above — the people who know which children can and can't be pictured. Team photos stay behind this password and are never on the public site.

The bottom of the dashboard is the practical part.

Team documents

Season dates, the code of conduct, the kit size guide, membership and fees, and the club's bank details for paying your subs — all in one place instead of in an email from September.

Support and safeguarding

Four things sit together here, and all of them reach a real person at the club:

• Wellbeing support — where to turn if something's going on for your player, on or off court.
• SEND support — how we support additional needs at sessions, and who to talk to about them.
• Report a safeguarding concern — a form that goes directly to the club's safeguarding team, not into a general inbox.
• Share your feedback — a short box that comes straight to the committee. Leave your name off it if you'd rather.

Donate pre-loved kit

Netballers grow. Outgrown club kit can be passed on to another family rather than thrown out, and there's a link on the dashboard to arrange it — our pre-loved kit is always free to whoever needs it.

Volunteer roles

Open volunteer roles for your team, plus club-wide ones.

Tap a role and the enquiry form opens with that role already filled in, so you're not left describing which job you meant.

• It works on a phone. Add it to your home screen and it opens like an app.
• You don't need an account. There's nothing to sign up for and no password to forget beyond your team's.
• It's always current. Everything you see comes from what coaches and the committee have entered, so it changes as they do.
• It's not public. Search engines are asked not to index the dashboard, and the password keeps it out of casual view.

If something on your dashboard looks wrong — a training time that's out of date, a team you can't find, a photo that shouldn't be there — please tell your coach or team manager, or use the feedback box. It's quick for us to put right.
