There’s never been a better time to get involved with Grappenhall & Widnes Netball Club.

As we prepare for the new season, we’re welcoming new players across our junior age groups, with opportunities available at both our Grappenhall/Warrington and Widnes venues.

Whether you’ve never picked up a netball before, have played at school, or you’re looking for somewhere to take your game to the next level, there’s a place for you at GW Netball.

New to netball? You’re very welcome.

We currently have opportunities for younger players, including Years 1, 2 and 3, as well as Years 5 and 6.

No previous experience is required.

Our junior teams are about much more than learning how to pass, shoot and defend. We want players to:

* Learn new skills and enjoy being active

* Build confidence both on and off the court

* Make new friends

* Experience being part of a supportive team

* Develop at a pace that’s right for them

* Most importantly, have fun!

With teams training across Grappenhall/Warrington and Widnes, families can find a pathway within one club that works for them.

For players looking to develop further, GW Netball also offers our Bloom and Flourish pathways.

Bloom | Development Teams

Bloom is designed to help players build their skills and confidence in a supportive environment. Players can train regularly, enjoy match play and continue progressing at their own pace.

Flourish | Performance Teams

Flourish provides an opportunity for players ready for an additional challenge. The pathway places greater emphasis on specialist development, match experience, technique, game IQ and working towards higher performance goals.

The important bit? They’re both part of the same GW family.

Players develop at different speeds and have different ambitions. Our aim is to provide a pathway where everyone has the opportunity to enjoy their netball and reach their own potential.
